The Seeker’s Apothecary: Why I Created Sacred Traditions

Every journey begins with a moment of revelation/realization. For Sacred Traditions, that moment happened in the aisle of a local metaphysical shop.

I had gone in looking for specific stones, crystals, and altar supplies that corresponded to the seven classical planets. I wanted to build a very deliberate ritual space. But when I asked the staff for recommendations, I hit a wall. While the employees were well-meaning Wiccans and pagans, they had no working knowledge of planetary correspondences for their herbs and crystals. When I brought up Qabalah, I was met with blank stares.

It was a frustrating experience, but it was also a revelation. I realized there was a massive gap in the community. There are plenty of shops that cater to the aesthetic of spirituality, but very few that truly understand the mechanics of the Western and Eastern mystery traditions.

I decided right then to create a space that serves the entire spectrum of practitioners—from the casual weekend pagan to the devoted adept.

To be clear, I consider myself a lifelong Seeker, not an adept by any means. But while I am on the path to adepthood, I have spent years meticulously studying the systems that map our universe. My personal journey has immersed me in Qabalah, Golden Dawn ritual magick, Tarot, Freemasonry, and comparative religion, and has recently evolved into deep explorations of Kriya Yoga and Non-Dual Shaiva Tantra. I wanted to build a store where that level of knowledge is baked into the very DNA of the inventory.

But Sacred Traditions isn’t just about ritual mechanics; it is about holistic integration. For the last 12 years, I have worked in the medical field, overseeing clinical compliance, facility management, and laboratory services. I am now bringing that clinical rigor and passion for health into the esoteric space.

Alongside our ritual tools, Sacred Traditions will soon be offering clinical-grade wellness supplements, tinctures, and botanicals. Rest assured that everything we stock is sourced with absolute intention, curated with love, and in some cases, crafted by true operative alchemists. It is a true marriage of science and spirit.

We are building more than a store; we are building a community of Seekers who demand both quality and depth. I am so excited to share this space with you.
